CEMAS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information and this document describes how we collect and use personal information about you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation which came into force in the European Economic Area on 25th May 2018.
What data do we collect?
No data are collected when you visit our website. Data are only collected if you send an electronic request to enquiries, make telephone contact or set up a specific study with CEMAS. The information that we have/will collect is restricted to name, title, professional e-mail address, professional telephone/mobile number and job title.
Why do we collect data?
Data are collected mainly for contractual purposes, to process your orders and to allow for communication, for example, with a Study Monitor, Study Director or Principal Investigator.
Will my data be secure?
CEMAS follows strict procedures to ensure that your personal information remains secure in our internal IT system and that unauthorised access or disclosure is prevented.
Will CEMAS share my data?
Your personal data may be used by some members of CEMAS staff who are subject to a strict obligation of confidentiality, but CEMAS will not share or disclose your data to third parties except to meet legal obligations, regulations or valid government requests.
Your legal data protection rights
You may, at any time, request that your data are corrected, updated or deleted. In addition, you can object to your data being processed, restrict processing of your data or request portability of your personal information. To do so, simply send an e-mail using our Contact form and we will make every possible effort to take the necessary actions as soon as possible.

In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how your personal data are handled, please contact the CEMAS Data Protection Officer by filling in our Contact form.
